Mike O’Donnell is President of Harbinger Capital Management. He has more than 15 years of experience in private equity, fundraising, sales, and business consulting.
Prior to joining Harbinger Capital Management, Mr. O’Donnell was the founder of BizLife Education, a nonprofit business education platform focused on entrepreneurial development for U.S. Military Veterans and disadvantaged individuals.
He also served as a major gift fundraiser for the UCF Athletics department, where he was part of a strategic leadership team that led fundraising initiatives for multiple $100 million capital campaigns.
Mr. O’Donnell is a volunteer and board member of the Jobs Partnership of Florida, which focuses on soft skills development, job placement, and economic development for disadvantaged individuals.
Mr. O’Donnell received a B.A. in Interpersonal Communication and an M.A. in Sports Leadership and Coaching, both from the University of Central Florida. He was also a letterwinner and captain of the UCF Basketball team.
Mr. O’Donnell and his wife Annie live in Central Florida with their two children. They are actively involved in their church and community.
