Robert Wright is a co-founder of Harbinger Capital Advisors LLC (HCA Capital), an Orlando, Florida-based capital partner which has placed or invested more than $200 million of debt and equity transactions.
Mr. Wright has more than 20 years of experience working in various segments of the capital markets. Prior to founding Harbinger Capital Advisors, he served as Director of Structuring and Analysis for CNL Capital Corp, where he led the analysis, structuring, and acquisition of operating businesses and commercial real estate.
Prior to joining CNL Capital Corp, Mr. Wright spent five years with a privately owned commercial paper conduit, where he worked on the structuring and analysis of a wide range of ABS and CMBS transactions — including real estate portfolio acquisitions, commercial business loans, trade receivables, and credit card receivables representing total assets in excess of $2 billion.
He and his wife, Laura, and their five children are actively involved in ministries through their local church.
Mr. Wright received an M.B.A. with honors from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, and a B.S. with honors in Financial Management from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
